Student’s Attorney - Biography

NIKOLA GLAVINCE was born in 1987, in Bitola. He finished secondary education in the State School for Secondary Education “Josip Broz Tito” – Bitola. Currently, he is a student in his second series (Master studies) at the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje, Legal Studies, Department of Criminal Law. 

To date, he has been and active member of several organizations and institutions, among which: from 1999 to 2001 he was the President of the Ecological Society of Primary Schools “Kolibri” in Bitola; President of the Youth Active at the State School for Secondary Education “Josip Broz Tito” – Bitola from 2002 to 2005; member of the Management Board of the French Alliance in Bitola from 2003 to 2006; member of the Coalition Against Human Trafficking “SEMPER” - Bitola from 2004 to 2008; as well as the Spokesman of the Children’s Art Studio “Small Bitola Monmartre” from 2004 to 2009.

He was also an active member of the University, i.e., students’ environment: member of the Learning and Teaching Council at the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law, as the representative of his 2005/2009 generation; President of the Commission for Preparation of Normative Acts for Reforms of the Students’ Union at UKIM in 2008; member of the Commission for Evaluation of the Faculty of Law 2008/2010; and assistant teacher in criminal law at the Faculty of Law from 2008 to 2010.

Furthermore, he has taken part in the Students’ Science Conference for legal studies’ students from UKIM and the Lomonsov Moscow State University in Moscow, Russia, which was held in Ohrid in 2005; Leadership and Communication Participation and Training in 2006 organized by the Danish Council – Skopje, Mavrovo, Ohrid; he attended the Students’ Conference for the 200th anniversary from the establishment of the University in Belgrade, which was held in Belgrade, Serbia in 2008.

He will perform the function Students’ Attorney at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje for two years, from 2009 to 2011.
